The annual PD Ports Northern Powerhouse Export Awards in association with HSBC, The Department for International Trade, ACOLINK & LetsDoChina.org, as well as other Northern businesses, is set to return for a third year to recognise and celebrate the achievements of North’s top exporters.

ACOLINK has joined forces with BE Group and BQ to actively promote and support the Awards and International Trade Campaign. Through our LetsDoChina.org initiative ACOLINK have been supporting the Campaign that seeks to recognise the most entrepreneurial exporters from across the North of England.

China is an important high growth market for the UK businesses, and the country is actively encouraging imports sending a powerful message through its China International Import Expo (CIIE) held for the first time in Shanghai, November 2018.

For the second consecutive year, ACOLINK is also organising a high profile Chinese delegation to attend to together celebrate the achievements of UK exporters.

The 2019 PD Ports Northern Powerhouse Export Awards in association with HSBC and the Department for International Trade will recognise export achievements across 9 individual categories.

For this year’s awards there are nearly 150 category nominations from across the North East, North West and Yorkshire. Following an extensive shortlisting process the finalists for each category are listed below:

A company that has been exporting for less than 2 years, whatever the age of the business. The winner of this category must be able to show how the start of their export journey is making a big difference to their business.
